Kanjiro Camellia is a fall-blooming sasanqua camellia with glossy evergreen foliage and vivid rose-pink to fuchsia semi-double flowers. It develops into a substantial rounded shrub that can serve as a specimen, flowering screen, foundation anchor, or small tree with selective pruning. Sasanqua camellias tolerate more sun than many japonica types, but Kanjiro performs best with protection from harsh afternoon sun in South Carolina.
