Queen Bee® Vitex is a heat-loving flowering shrub with vivid lavender flower spikes that begin in mid-June and rebloom through summer. It stays lower and broader than a traditional chastetree, maturing about five to six feet tall and seven to nine feet wide. Pollinators visit the long-lasting flowers heavily, making this a strong choice for sunny hedges, focal plantings, and large pollinator borders. Plant it in full sun and well-drained soil; once established, it handles Southern heat and periods of drought very well.
